Biography:
Vanellope von Schweetz is a fictional character from Disney's animated film, Wreck-It Ralph (2012) and its sequel, Ralph Breaks the Internet (2018).
Introduced as a "glitch" in the arcade racing game Sugar Rush, Vanellope is ostracized by the other racers due to her unstable coding, which causes her to teleport and pixelate. She desires to race legitimately, proving her worth and belonging.
It is later revealed that Vanellope is, in fact, Princess Vanellope, the rightful ruler of Sugar Rush. Her memory was suppressed by King Candy (later revealed to be Turbo) who usurped her throne.
In Ralph Breaks the Internet, Vanellope develops a love for the more hardcore racing game Slaughter Race within the internet, eventually choosing to stay there and become its new racer alongside Shank and her crew. This difficult decision marks a significant moment of growth for her character, demonstrating her desire for self-discovery and the pursuit of her own happiness.
